Why there is no safe standard price
Hospitality extraction systems differ by location. A small restaurant hood with a short duct route requires a different approach than a grease duct with a rooftop fan, limited access or heavy contamination.
A useful quote should therefore explain the scope, not only the total price.
- Number and size of extraction hoods
- Filter area and duct opening
- Grease duct length and accessibility
- Motor, fan or rooftop extraction
- Contamination level and cleaning history
- Reporting, photos and certificate requirements
Photos make the estimate more accurate
Photos of the hood, filters, duct opening, motor context and roof access help make the first assessment more specific. They do not always replace inspection, but they reduce assumptions.
Check the scope, not only the total amount
A low quote can be incomplete when the grease duct, fan or reporting is outside the scope. Always ask what is included and what is excluded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a price without photos?
Sometimes, but photos usually make the estimate more reliable. Without photos, more assumptions are needed about scope and access.
Is a certificate always included?
No. A cleaning certificate is appropriate only when the relevant scope has been completed and can be verified.
